Backstreet Cafe in Jaipur, India, has been serving its classic cheeseburgers to the masses since 1979.
It’s been around for over two decades now and has become a favorite among locals.
But when the owners were approached by an international news outlet about expanding the business, they jumped at the chance.
So, they launched a new location in Mumbai and set about expanding into new markets.
“The response to this has been fantastic,” says CEO Shree Nayan, who has been managing the restaurant since it opened in 2008.
“There’s been a lot of growth over the years.
People come in for lunch or dinner, and then we have a few special events like weddings and weddings of a kind.”
The business is booming, Nayan says, with people from all over India come for lunch.
He also has an international expansion team in the works and is working on adding new markets around the world.
The restaurant serves a wide range of dishes, including burgers, sandwiches, burgers with cheese, fried chicken and fries, with a menu of seasonal and seasonal items.
The food is served with Indian, Western and international sauces, and it’s available for delivery throughout the world, including to the US.
Nayan also plans to open an outpost in the UK, but he’s hoping to expand his business internationally.
His customers, however, are more likely to be from India, the Middle East and Africa, he says.
“It’s a little bit of an anomaly in India, but people love it,” he says of the local demand for cheesebucks.
