The cafe chain is looking to change its fortunes after the passing of its founder in 2017.
“Cafe Beignet is no longer open,” the company posted on its Facebook page on Wednesday.
The cafe chain will be renamed as Café Leche, which was acquired by Nestlé in 2018.
The cafe has been sold to a Belgian company, but the owners of the cafe are still looking to take over the business.
The company said the new owners would be able to make a profit by taking over the operation, but it did not specify the price.
The new owners will also be able set up a dedicated social media platform to share information about the business, and offer other discounts.
The owners of Cafe Beignets café have also announced plans to create a new café in the neighbourhood of La Biciclet.
